Is It True What Haylee Asked About Us?
Monday, March 2- We went to the bishop’s house for FHE. Andrew was sick and warned me to allow me to make informed decisions about my kissing habits. I decided to not get sick and not kiss him. We befriended the bishop’s granddaughter. During the activity Andrew moved away from us and right away in her cute little 6 year old voice asked me, “Are you guys in love?” I giggled and said “I think so.” I told Andrew and we decided it was the cutest thing ever. I teased him later by modifying a Spongebob quote and asked him “Is it true what Haylee asked about us?” He was scared to say those words and he said, “I wish there was a way to say I really, really like you a whole lot.” I said, “ but there is, it’s…” and then he commanded me not to say it. The weather beckoned us outside and we played the chapstick wrestling game, which I won. As we lyed on the grass in each other’s arms, he turned to me and told me that he loves me. I took a moment to soak it in and then looked into his eyes and told him that I love him too. Obviously after he tells me for the first time that he loves me I’m not going to restrain myself from kissing him just because I’m afraid of a little cold. He made me hot chocolate and gave me a foot massage. Yeah, that’s why I love him. I am so excited that we can say that now because I fully feel it it and want the whole world to know. It is a scary thought to know that we love each other because it is a serious and deep new feeling that is so wonderful and thrilling. Love makes it all so worth it and it can overcome any fear it may bring.
