Oct. 17th- Last week Erin and Jenny were in town so we had nonstop plans with them. The whole family of adults did an endowment session in Salt Lake and then ate Greek food. Erin had a smashing party in the back yard and Andrew and I made an interesting present for her. It involved a photoshopped picture of Erin's dream man (a sailor) and then surrounding him with crazy trinkets that were probably a part of his life. Wierd in know but different. Her party was so cool. The back porch was turned into a live music venue. The food was delicious and the decorations included colorful couches, old tvs, poloroids, colorful lights and an all around vintage feel. There was live music too.
Andrew played the piano and guitar at the "Education In Zion" exhibit on campus. Some gut tipped him 10 dollars for making his day better.
Yesterday started out innocently by going to the BYU Lost and Found sale where we found some great steals. It turned into lunch at Red Lobster and a crazy shopping spree. It was nice to have fun and buy new things instead of feeling poor and boring. I'm glad my husband loves shopping and knows what looks good on me. It was so relaxing and fun.
